Teachings of the Tipi - Workshop

Practical/Teaching workshop on the Teachings of the Tipi 

August 14th 2025 (South Dakota) (9am - 5pm) 

The Tipi is an old structure that was given to the people in a very difficult time. It holds many wisdoms not only in its form and structure but also in the very energy it holds when placed upon the landscape

There are many reasons for utilising this sacred space for both ceremonies and general living. Spending time in this space and interacting with it changes you from the inside and if one listens deeply enough there is great wisdom held within this structure informing human beings on how to live in connection.

As with all sacred spaces there are specific alignments and connections that go with each part and piece of the structure and how they align within creation creating the opportunity for those energies to be present within that space.

In this workshop, we will offer teachings on the Tipi and interact with it practically to gain your own personal relationship to this structure through erecting this deeply connective space. 

With both teaching and practical components to the day, we aim to offer the most surface area for learning, developing your relationship in the only way to learn - by doing it. Instruction provided by Anthony and Adrienne Gencarelle and Family. 

What you will come away with from the Workshop experience:

• Knowledge and understanding of the Tipi
• The story of how the Tipi came to the people
• Practical hands-on experience in erecting the Tipi correctly
• Relationships within in each part of the Tipi
• Greater connection to the powers held within this structure
• Deeper relationships with the aspects that support human beings to live
• A more personal understanding of how creation works

This is a perfect grounding opportunity if you are attending the Heart of the Quest camp this year, as it will deepen the support and preparations for your quest experience. It is also an amazing stand-alone experience.

If staying on for the Heart of the Quest Camp, there will be the opportunity to spend the night within the traditional structure of the Tipi.

Date: August 14th, 2025

(Start - 9am on the 14th, completing at approx. 5pm)

Location: Black Hills of western South Dakota (1 hour away from Rapid City, South Dakota). The site is a primitive camp. Cars are parked at designated area onsite, and participants and their gear will be transported to the camp location (approx. 1.5 miles away). There is no cell or Wi-Fi service at this location. A break from technology is a necessary part of the purification experience. Please bring all your own camping needs for the 3 days. 

Meals: As this workshop is both a teaching and practical process, we will offer two wholesome meals (lunch and dinner) for the day to achieve the most of our time together.
